We’re looking for a 99% nerd, a mastermind with strong code-abilities to join our development team in Denmark.

Asensus is a software development house providing our customer with our world-class Recovery Assurance solution, SMART. Our SMART software helps our customers demonstrate server recoverability very cost efficiently through automated hands-off server recovery tests.

We predominantly have international customers via our dedicated partners. Our development strategies are formed in close partnership with our customer and partners. Currently, the SMARTtsm software, engages two development teams, Windows and UNIX.

Who (we think) you are?

You are a passionate developer and you can share the values of our SMART family. Whether you hold a Master's degree in software engineering, computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience is not key. Nor do we require a great number of certificates, project management honors or international merits.

However, it is crucial that you can conceive, code and complete your projects. You must be able to jump right in, roll up your sleeves and take initiative. We won’t hold your hand but certainly the team gives you a hand whenever necessary.

We don’t expect you to bring 15 years of experience; rather we are looking for the insightful talent, great ideas with high integrity meaning strong commitment to your word.

A coder’s day at asensus

No secret: everybody in asensus has busy days. You will very likely run into hard work, tight deadlines and needy customers placed in strange time zones. But relax – we just consider it to be work; we only ask you to do your best and share your jokes.

It’s an advantage if you like Windows (which our UNIX guys don’t!). If you’ve done an O/S autopsy understanding stuff like registry settings, drivers and system services it will help you develop recovery-focused software to our SMART customers.

For our Windows product line we use C/C++ and .NET. In a perfect world you are – if not passionate – then at least familiar with XML, web services and SQL databases.
