Global bank automates full-server recovery tests from Tivoli backups

In partnership with our reseller Silverstring Ltd, a global bank, triple A accredited, signs SMARTtsm order to deploy SMARTtsm software, facilitating automated server recovery processes directly from server backups stored in IBM TSM.

The SMARTtsm solution centralizes compliance-related recovery tests to document recovery assurance for server backups stored in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.

Executing frequent and automated server recoveries directly out of IBM TSM onto a low-cost dissimilar test platform, SMARTtsm reports on recoverability as well as Recovery Time (RTO).

In combination with SMARTtsm's SLA-based recovery (Service Level Agreement), each recovery process reports on compliance, comparing actual recovery time with expected (SLA) recovery time.
